Do you want the exciting PVP aspect of games like WoW and League of Legends but despise grinding creeps or gear to do any damage? Battlerite is a fun isometric camera MOBA style'd game that features complete balance and WASD style movement. The game has no creep farm just select your champion and fight. A great selling point to the game is that it's free to play!
The game features three types of characters: Melee, Ranged, and Support which can have a melee or ranged play-style. The player is also allowed to manipulate the abilities of their champion by customizing their "Loadout" by selecting "Battlerites" that best compliment your play-style against. Some Battlerites are better than others when it comes to who you're fighting against. For example you would select more stun time for long range abilities if you are facing two hard CC champions.
Alright, what game modes can I expect?
The game modes the player can select are:
- Casual (2v2, 3v3 matchmaking)
- League (Competitive 2v2, 3v3 matchmaking)
- Custom (Make/join a custom lobby to fight friends)
- Duel (1v1 matchmaking)
- Practice (Play the tutorial to learn the mechanics, Playground: try loadouts and strats on dummies set up in different situations around the map, VS AI: 2v2 or 3v3 bot matchmaking.)
- Avatars (Profile Icon)
- Outfits (A lot of the same outfits have different themes)
- Weapons (Same goes for weapons)
- Poses
- Emotes (Fun expressions you can perform in-game to have a nice interaction with other players)
- Mounts
- Pets
What would I expect in the average game?
The goal in a Battlerite match is to win by killing all enemies each round. The first team to win three times wins the match. To make the match interesting there is an orb placed in the middle of the map that gives the team health and energy. So both teams will usually fight around it and try to snag it before the other team does to pull off clutches. They spawn frequently so don't worry too much if you missed it the first time. Both teams will use their abilities and some use energy to perform a bonus or a different move entirely. Once the timer runs out there will be a ring that begins to close off the arena and approaches the center of the map which is the orb. So use this to your advantage when you're alone.

I'm not that good but I'm an artist and I want to show my ability!
Their discord also features an art channel that many people frequent and it is an excellent place to get your work out if you post relevant artwork!
In conclusion, this game is amazing and the same can be said for the community. Give it a try, its free.
