The Forest - The best underrated survival game !!

 

    Have you ever wanted to play a survival game with a good price and good story ? If so I suggest you play The Forest . Its a survival horror game including man eating cannibals, 8 armed giants, and chainsaws. Not only can you play the game on your own , lone wolf , you can also have up to 4 friends in your game. Making the experience 10 times better . Sadly though the game is only available on Ps4 and PC , again sadly there is no cross play. The prices for the game varies, on the Ps4 its $19.99 meanwhile on PC the Alpha is $14.99 . I love this game not only because its a horror survival game with Flesh Eating Mutants it also has a great story.

Before we continue with the story lets go over some of the Mutant cannibal types 

• Females - There are different type of Cannibal Females. There's the Normal mutants that just attack. The other Female Mutant is called Virginia. These are the ones you want to keep away from. They are 8 armed mutants that are one shot killer. They will one shot . STAY AWAY !!

• Males - Just like the females the regular males just attack with bare fist while unlike the females,  the males have weapons such as skull clubs and wooden spears. The males also have there version the Virginia Mutant. Its called the Armsy. Just like the Virginia its a one shot killer . The last one that if your unlucky to come across is called the Cowman aka The baby. I call it the baby because it looks just like one just deformed and WAY BIGGER . They attack by running towards you like a ram and they send you flying. They also stomp on the ground which will make your character fly as well.   

    Back to the story gameplay the game starts you off in a plane with your son sitting next to you . Suddenly the planes engine starts to combust and explodes having the plane crash down into a small island in the middle of the peninsula leaving you stranded . You wake up in the crashed plane but your son is missing unlike the other dead bodies. You have to survive and fight off the cannibals and find your son and escape the island. 

In my opinion this game is very underrated and I wish I could play it for the very first time again. I believe the price is reasonable for a game like this. Its a hidden gem . I suggest playing it with your friends for a better experience but you can play the game on your own. You chose!
